Greenfield Environmental, Inc. (GE) offers our clients full service lead-based coatings consulting and testing services. Our staff are trained and certified by the EPA to conduct lead inspections and provide all associated reporting. For lead inspections, our staff utilizes X-Ray Flourescent technology and material chip sample techniques to determine precise lead content of building components. Following sampling techniques, a final report is generated for our client that exactly explains the materials that were assessed and their lead content.
If lead is determined to be present, our client is informed of the options for removal or management in place. If a lead remediation project is to be conducted, GE staff will design a proper project remediation design and will provide the technical requirements for removal to qualified environmental contractors. Once a contractor is selected our staff will provide project oversight and ensure that all lead materials are removed properly. Upon passing visual inspection, final project clearance samples are collected to verify the efficacy of the lead remediation. Once the final samples have passed the clearance criteria, the contractor demobilizes from the site and GE provides our client with the final sample results and all project documentation.
